We got a late season snow fall of about 5 or 6 inches a couple days ago. Mike has been taking advantage of the snow by going snowboarding on the weekends and he is getting really good. I think Mike likes the snow more and more every winter. Mike decided to bundle Mikey up and take him out in the front yard to play in the snow. Mikey loved it. He didn't want to come back inside. Mike said he was eating the snow and was slipping and falling everywhere but didn't seem to mind. Being inside is good enough for me, I like to just watch from the window and then take a few pictures like the ones below.

i'd so LOVE for summer to be right there playing in the snow next to Mikey. who knew winter would grow on Michael Dan - the man who has always hated the cold... hmmm... Idaho through and through i think :)
I agree with Sarah that hat is adorable! And I agree with both of you I am ready for some at least 60 degree weather...I want to throw my kids in the backyard and let them play! I hope your boys are healthier!

He's so cute! And I am jealous! (I know that's bad) but I seriously miss snowboarding! Too much time gets taken out when you are pregnant and nursing! Next year....next year!! I am glad your hubby has had such a great time though. I also agree about the hat and I too am excited for spring to come, at least more sun anyways!! I just keep telling myself that the snow is great so we don't have a drought or a bad dry fire season! Come on 60 degree weather!!!
All I can say it Props to Mike. What a good dad! And, what a stud little Mikey is for walking in the stuff. That's tuff to get around in it when your that little.

my kids would be totally jealous. they love snow. well, they love the IDEA of snow. after they're in it for 10 minutes, they whine. i think snow is cool! (easy for ME to say, right? i don't live in it). :D
