So little Mikey is smiling now and it is the coolest thing ever!! It makes those sleepless nights totally worth it! Mike was up all night with him last night and this morning he was laying on his chest and they were both staring at each other and Mikey smiled at Mike like 4 times. I told Mike that I didn't care how tired he was that the smile just makes you forget about it and your heart melt.

It's been fun to see the way this little guy has changed you both. You probably don't see it, but I do. You're a beautiful family!
Grandpa Rusty would like me to let you all know that he was the one that took the picture and got him to smile like this!
that's just like papa. just like when he's working on a puzzle with someone and he finds a piece that fits, he'll 'tap' the piece into place, so that the other knows that he got one. :) haha! we sure love you, dad!
