Carter Lee Dan born 10/27 5:39pm 8 lbs 4 oz 20in.... So happy to be a bigger family! Labor went great. They started me on petocin about 9:00am I started feeling contractions around 12:00 and doc came in and broke my water at 1:00. I NEEDED an epidural by 2:00pm and then 3 hours later I was ready to push. I pushed through 5 contractions and out came Carter! Yes our crib card said "Danboy" on it. I made sure we had a name picked before the rest of the evening was over. He has tons of dark hair, he is nursing well for the moment and is sleeping ALOT! Mikey isn't really reacting to him yet but Im sure he will soon.

What a beautiful baby boy! You have such a beautiful little family. I love ALL of these pictures. Especially the one with the two little boys sleeping side by side. So precious!!! You look amazing and happy and beautiful and just... WONDERFUL! I am so happy for you both and can't wait to meet the boys one day! Congratulations!!

I think that the name picking was settled when the girls showed up that night:) He is such a handsome boy. I love his hair. You are such a strong women. You guys all look so cute together. I love the pic of the boys sleeping by each other. Carter is handsome.

It was the sweetest experience being there as precious little Carter came into the world! I looked at him and went silent because I was feeling so...I don't know how to describe it. It was sacred.
...also, I wanted to publicly thank Sarah Frank for painting Taylor's toenails in preparation for the delivery. We all commented on it in the delivery room. Her pretty toenails looked 'tres chic' in the stirrups!
And here's some trivia...Taylor, as you labored in Coeur d'Alene, they were celebrating Labor Day in New Zealand.
oh, i GET it...LABOR day...and taylor was in LABOR! i'm not so quick sometimes.
and tay, just so you have some more little fun facts for carter's scrapbook...while you were in labor that day, michael, i and the kids were at a political rally and we were even on the news! i recorded it. i'll always remember that day because all i could think about was you & the new baby.
WELL, FIRST OFF IM GLAD ALL OF YOU LIKED THE PIC I TOOK OF THE 2 BOYS SLEEPING... I STILL LIKE THE NAME RYAN, BUT IM GETTING MORE AND MORE USE TO CARTER... I AM SO THANKFUL FOR TAYLOR, AND ALL SHE DOSE FOR THIS FAMILY...
